Our recent stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the staff who were not only friendly but also highly professional. Whenever we faced any issues, they were quick to offer their expertise and assistance, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. We opted for a four-person room, which was surprisingly spacious. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay for all of us. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, contributing further to our pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is its standout feature, situated directly above Osaka Station. This made our travel incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to various transportation options. Furthermore, the vicinity of the hotel is bustling with shopping and dining options, offering convenience and a wide range of choices for every taste.

The Granvia is part of the main Osaka station, so it can’t be beat if you are traveling by train. I booked a deluxe double for myself because I thought I would need a touch of luxury at this point in my trip. The room was spacious, had a wonderful view, and the bathroom was twice the size of those in more budget-friendly hotels. There was a closet! A hook on the bathroom door! Lots of USB ports. Another plus is the noon check-out time. I left the room at 11:25, took the elevator to the reception, checked out, walked into the station, found Track 5, was ready to board at 11:45, and was at my hotel in Kobe an hour later.

Location is excellent. The original room had broken AC but it was rectified quickly and we got moved to another room which is nicer than the first one. I believe all the family rooms are in the corner of the building with nice city view. We were able to drop off our large suitcase 4 days before our stay so we did not have to lug it around in Kyoto. We were also able to drop off our bags around noon on the day of check in so we could explore unencumbered before check-in. Checkout time is noon which is super generous. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I liked the changes made since we last stayed at the property about five years ago. The registration/check in area is spacious and the dining areas are larger and conveniently situated. On our last night in Osaka, we had dinner at the hotel's Japanese restaurant on the main floor. The food was exceptional! For anyone who places a high priority on shopping, there are three department stores nearby, each with amazing foods and gift items to purchase.

Close to Osaka Station within the Umeda business district.Plenty of swanky department stores in easy reach. The Ignite Cafe on the ground floor has a good salad bar. The hotel staff are professional and switched on. We booked a twin room with a view of the city. It was roomy and comfortable. The cocktail Bar near reception has a great view and was a nice spot for a negroni. If I was ever to revisit Osaka I would stay here again.
